In his early years, Ovi spent much of his time dedicated to sports, which helped him develop the discipline and personal routines he later needed in college and medical school. Even though being a doctor sounded great, Ovi eventually realized that his personality and energy were more focused on creating new things and that his path led elsewhere.

So, Ovi began a decade-long career in the world of business, which at first seemed like a perfect fit. However, troublesome obstacles arose in his professional and personal life which cracked open the fragile shell of his ego and led him to experience suffering. In hindsight this was a gift, as this suffering helped Ovi to focus on increasing his spiritual awareness, and he now considers personal suffering to be one of his first spiritual teachers.

Ovi's path of divinely-timed spiritual development soon brought him to discover BPI's website, and he quickly enrolled in a Meditation 1 class "just to learn how to meditate". The indescribable experience of getting in touch with his spirit during the various 6-Week Classes soon led him to join BPI's Clairvoyant Program, from which he graduated as valedictorian.
